The department of Mathematics and Statistics at Acadia University is proud to organize the third annual Acadia University Undergraduate Mathematics Competition. This competition is open to any registered undergraduate student at Acadia from all departments and faculties. The problems are challenging and are designed to test your mathematical mental toughness without requiring really advanced mathematical topics. In fact all of the problems can be solved using high school algebra, geometry and trigonometry and first year Calculus and a sprinkle of ingenuity.

The competition will be written Saturday morning April 10th at 10AM in BAC 234.

We would like to acknowledge the financial support of the department of Mathematics and Statistics, the office of the Dean of Science and the office of the Vice-President Academic at Acadia.

Below we have collected a series of links which contains a bunch of sample problems - a warning though, many of these problems may be harder than the ones on the actual competition.
