Rothberger Mathematics Library

The Rothberger Mathematics Library, housed in the department (Room 116 in Huggins Science Hall), gives students ready access to a wide collection of books and journals.  The library is named after Dr. Fritz Rothberger who was a professor in the department.

To find anything in the library you need the CALL NUMBER for that item (we do not have a computer in the library to use for such searches). 

The Call Number has two parts:

• the LOCATION (where it is) , and 
• the LIBRARY OF CONGRESS CLASSIFICATION (letters and numbers that show where on the shelf the item is). 

You need both parts of the Call Number to find your item.

This information can be gathered from doing a search on the Vaughan Library's online catalogue.  If you wish to only search items that are held in the Rothberger Mathematics Library, you can limit your search to this location by selecting the appropriate search parameters under the Search Limit options.

Access can be arranged during normal business hours by contacting the departmental
