Anne Robinson (BScH '96) new President of INFORMS

Acadia grad youngest person in history to serve as President.

Dr Anne G. Robinson (BScH '96) is the new President of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), the largest professional society in the world for professionals in the field of operations research, management science, and business analytics. Anne is currently the Director of Supply Chain Strategy and Analytics for Verizon Wireless.
 
Anne graduated from Acadia in 1996 with an Honours degree in Mathematics and Statistics, and a particular interest in Operations Research. After leaving Wolfville, Anne earned a Master’s degree in Management Science from the University of Waterloo, before moving to Stanford University where she earned a master’s degree in Management Science & Engineering, followed by a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering.
