# Math Diagnostic Test

Students enrolled in Math 1013 (Introductory Calculus I) are required to write a 25-question multiple choice "diagnostic test" to determine their foundational knowledge in the areas of algebra, functions, analytic geometry, and trigonometry. They are not required to pass this test to gain entry into Math 1013; however, if they receive a mark of 14 or lower, they are instructed to meet with Dr. Caroline Cochran to discuss their options for successfully obtaining their Math 1013 credit.

The diagnostic test for Math 1013 will take place during the first studio (i.e., Math 1010L).
