2026 Junior Math and Computer Science Camp
The Department of Mathematics & Statistics organized a week of fun and enriching indoor and outdoor activities designed to foster children's curiosity and enjoyment of mathematics and computer science. This annual week-long summer day camp featured engaging experiences in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science.
The camp followed a treasure hunt theme, with activities centered on topics such as data science, robotics, cryptography, geocaching, and the connections between art and mathematics. Through hands-on learning and exploration, participants developed problem-solving skills while discovering the excitement and creativity of mathematical and computational thinking.
