Acadia students participate in Science Atlantic @ Mount Allison

This past weekend 7 students and faculty member Caroline Cochran attended the Science Atlantic meeting for Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science at Mount Allison University.   This annual conference is student-focused, with emphasis on undergraduates.  The format was quite different than last year, with in-person only attendance and a reception (rather than a banquet) on Friday evening.  30 students wrote the math competition, including our 7 from Acadia (thanks to Iain Beaton who helped the students prepare).  Acadia students really enjoyed the experience, particularly the presentations the following day.   Next year's Science Atlantic will be at UPEI.
