Congratulations to the Winners of the Acadia Math Competition 2026!
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Acadia University held the 14th Annual Acadia University Mathematics Competition on Saturday, March 26, 2026. This competition was open to all undergraduate students at Acadia, from every department and faculty, and also welcomed local high school students to participate.
The problems were thoughtfully designed to challenge participants’ mathematical creativity and mental toughness without requiring advanced coursework. Most could be solved using high school mathematics—such as geometry and trigonometry—along with some first-year calculus and a healthy dose of ingenuity.
