ACADIA ALERT - Campus Closed - Monday January 26, 2026

Acadia University will be closed on Monday January 26, 2026 due to expected weather conditions.

All classes are cancelled for the day. Employees and students are not expected to come to campus and only employees deemed essential are required to report to work. Non-essential employees are not expected to work during the closure. Residence buildings will be accessible, and Wheelock Dining Hall will be open but at reduced hours.

Margaret Hopkins wins "best presentation" at Science Atlantic Conference

Acadia undergraduate math student Margaret Hopkins won first place for math presentation at the Science Atlantic Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science Conference 2018, at Université de Moncton.  Her talk was An analysis of phase structure and execution of Steve Reich’s “Marimba Phase”.   See https://scienceatlantic.ca/committees/mathstats/mswinners2018/
