2025 Junior Math and Computer Science Camp

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics helps organize a week of fun and enriching indoor and outdoor activities designed to develop a child’s curiosity and enjoyment of math and computer science.  This annual week-long summer day camp includes Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science.

A week of fun and enriching indoor and outdoor activities designed to develop a child’s curiosity and enjoyment of math and computer science.  A spy theme will include topics like coding, cryptography, geocaching, art and math.

Who: Children entering grade 5 or 6
When: July 7 – 11, 2025 from 9am – 4:30pm
Where: Huggins Science Hall, Acadia University
Cost: $85 plus a transaction fee (Bursaries are available for those who qualify for financial assistance)

Registration Information:

Registration will open at 9am on Tuesday April 15.

Registration will be a 2-step process:

  1. Use the registration form to apply to camp. A link will be posted here at 9am Tuesday April 15.
  2. The camp will make admission decisions by Monday April 21. Families of admitted students will confirm camp participation by paying the registration fee.

Registration is limited to 20 participants.  The camp is committed to the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
