iSpy 2021: A Junior Math and Computer Science Camp

The camp was held July 5 - 9 and was a great success!

A week of fun and enriching indoor and outdoor activities designed to develop a child’s curiosity and enjoyment of math and computer science.  A spy theme will include topics like coding, cryptography, geocaching, music and art & math.

Who: Children entering grade 5 or 6
When: July 5 – 9, 2021 from 9am – 4:30pm (in-person days), 10 - 3pm (virtual days)
Where: Acadia University & Online
Format: 3 outdoor days at Acadia University and 2 virtual days from home.  The format of the camp is subject to change due to restrictions from the Covid-19 pandemic. Parents should be prepared for the possibility of a fully virtual camp.
Cost: $80 + $5.88 administration fee (Bursaries are available for those who qualify for financial assistance)
Registration: Registration is closed
Please note that registration is non-refundable unless the camp is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Parents should be prepared for a fully virtual camp in the event that all in-person day camps are closed by the Office of Public Health of Nova Scotia or by Acadia University.

Registration is limited to 20 participants. To encourage gender diversity, an equal number of spots are allocated for boys and girls.
