ACADIA ALERT - Delayed Campus Opening (Weather)

Due to the continued weather and ongoing snow clearing efforts, Acadia University will delay opening campus on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 until 12:00pm, with classes resuming at 12:30pm. Conditions on campus will be assessed throughout the morning and if there is a need to remain closed a follow up message will be sent.

Employees and students are not expected to come to campus until it opens. Residences will be accessible, and Wheelock Dining Hall will be open.

Mathematics and Statistics Infinity Fund

The Mathematics and Statistics Infinity Fund is designed to enhance the experiences of mathematics and statistics students by providing support for a broad range of student learning, research, and engagement activities. These activities could include: summer research funding; travel awards for attendance at conferences, workshops, and courses; special mathematics events or outreach activities; additional scholarship support; as well as other student initiatives.

The specific allocation of disbursements will be determined annually by a committee comprising the Head of Department and two additional members elected from the Mathematics and Statistics Department. Policies and practices around this fund will be reviewed on a regular basis.
