The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is saddened by the news that Dr. Catherine Stanley passed away on Monday May 16.

Math & Stats Alum Dr Anne G. Robinson is the new President of the INFORMS, the largest professional society in the world for professionals in the field of operations research, management science, and business analytics.

Paul Cabilio, Professor Emeritus in Mathematics and Statistics, has been awarded the Statistical Society of Canada's 2010 Distinguished Service Award.
